The Umbra

Penelope Numan Braxton was a great science enthusiast from a very young age thanks to the values instilled in her by her mother, both loved nature and botany with all their hearts, this inspired Penelope to become a Biogeneticist to protect the trees that she loved so much, unfortunately her mother died at a young age, but that only motivated Penelope, she would fulfill the dream that they both had of protecting nature

Penelope's natural talent took her far, she obtained her doctorate at Areno University in 1997 presenting her thesis at 15 years old.

Years later in the year 2000, Penelope began working at the pharmaceutical company SHI-BO Inc., where she met Yukito Pappeto, the son of CEO Mineato. They both had a good relationship as collaborators due to the respect they had for each other. They both had great talent in the field of biogenetics, something that impressed many. The innate talent of both seemed to surpass that of CEO Minato.

During that time she began to refine the vision of her university thesis, she planned to use a machine to make her vision a reality.

A Plane Crash

Kenning Flugslys had graduated from the academy a long time ago, now he had his own alias and was the nemesis of Goldheart, one of the most popular superheroes, he was no slouch, Kenning Flugslys had committed more than 8,000 different crimes, including everything from aircraft theft to murder and torture.

One day for unknown reasons he had to steal a plane, said plane crashed into a house, after crashing the scientist saw a tall man with a black hat, at that moment he knew that nothing would ever be the same again.

The person standing before him was someone he only considered a myth, a lie that could not be real. The man who appeared before him was evil himself, Lord Black Hat.

The scientist's life had been spared, not out of generosity but out of necessity, the man in the hat had lost his scientist because he vomited acid on him, the scientist without hesitation accepted the entity's proposal, abandoning his villain alias, Kenning Flugslys would now be the chief scientist of the organization, being called simply as Dr. Flug

The stay was horrible from the beginning, Flug was forced to wear a ridiculous paper bag to cover his face and most nights Flug had nightmares about his new boss. Flug made some notes about his new home, Hat Island, on this island seemed to live all kinds of villains, but there was something that intrigued him, the H3-X, the H3-X is a chemical substance that seems to come only from Hat Island, the way in which this substance behaved was similar to the shadows that Black Hat controlled, the substance has no molecules, nor does it reflect any type of light.

To Black Hat this human seemed strange, this human was capable of killing and torturing anyone, it did not matter if they were women or children, although his face was attractive in human terms, the scientist most of the time looked pathetic, when he was not performing an evil task he looked like an ordinary person, the scientist could do the most horrible actions and still continue with his life without remorse, as if nothing had happened, this seemed interesting to Black Hat.

An Angelic Lizard

The D3-M experiment alias El Alebrije, was a mutation experiment done by Dr. Flug, a girl with multiple enhanced abilities thanks to the lizard's DNA, a girl that many called the angelic lizard, Flug did not remember how this girl had arrived at the mansion, her memories were confusing, for some reason she only remembered that she had arrived barefoot.

D3-M called herself Demencia, the girl didn't seem to remember having been an experiment by Flug, Flug decided not to tell her anything about it.
